Speak up about cyberbullying

Victorian Government - Bullystoppers

Cyberbullying is relentless, pursuing victims wherever they are connected.

However, the threat of banning access was leading to at-risk people staying silent.

So, we used the iconic symbol of sharing, to engage and educate parents and young people.

A problem shared is a problem halved.

With a one-month campaign across print, PR and online, the campaign delivered:

  • 47,836 visits to the campaign website during the month-long campaign, 92.056 page views and 5,6154 factsheet downloads

  • 347,504 video views

  • A Government first Facebook partnership, with 9,210 interactions and an average of 45 comments per post

  • PR reach of 2.6 million

  • 268% increase in awareness of the Bully Stoppers amongst parents

  • An increase in both web visits and time spent over the longer phase 1 campaign, at a 1/3 of the media spend
